RIDE WITH US
3Wheel Therapy offers free rides on an adaptive tricycle, with the leg power of dedicated, trained and compassionate volunteers. Individuals who are unable to ride a traditional bicycle due to loss of coordination or balance, disability or fear are welcome to ride. Rides of all ages are welcome. Riders should be able to transfer, with the support of family members or caregivers, to the adapted trike seat and may not exceed 225lbs.
Select your location below to request a ride in New Hanover County, North Carolinn; Summit County, Ohio; or Montgomery or Warren Counties, Ohio. Upon completion of the form, you will be contacted to schedule a ride.
NORTH CAROLINA
Individual rides start at Mike Chappel Park and are offered on the Island Greenway in Carolina Beach, NC. This beautiful tree-lined trail is 1.2 miles each way.
Group rides may also be scheduled at your facility or at a local park/trail in New Hanover County.
